An early start to chase the sun

  • Natural Child Portraiture

How fortunate am I to have a little sidekick who is always up for a spontaneous adventure to create some beauty?! And I’m so grateful she wants to do it, because I know some day she probably won’t anymore!

She’s just the best little mate!

Tilly hadn’t been in the ‘stroller’ for a long time now, so naturally she was thrilled at the prospect of a whizz about in her old ride!

Our house usually wakes up at 6ish. Pretty standard around here. But of course today, the day when I woke up, opened the curtains and saw the beautiful colours in the sky; we all woke up at 8am. But even though I knew I had missed an amazing sunrise and the colours in the sky told me all I needed to know about how the sun rose today, I went and chased whatever gorgeous light I could hold onto.

We set off on the path adjacent to our house, armed with a bright pink dressing gown and the comfy blanket, searching for the perfect spot to capture some of the magic still left from the sunrise!

I love village life, I love that I can just step out of my door and capture some of the beauty of nature, including the kids is the bonus!
