3 reasons brand photography is so important

  • Commercial Branding Photography

So first off, what is branding photography?

In the not too distant past it generally meant a forced smile headshot, shots of the offices, images of your products (perhaps in situ, perhaps plain background) and that was about it.

With the surge of importance of social media and ever more sophisticated websites people are pretty underwhelmed with all that stuff. It doesn't mean to say it isn't important, but whether big or small, clients are desperate to know, like and trust you in a far more connected way.

That means getting a whole lot smarter with your visual presence.

Here are 3 reasons why I think brand photography is so important!

1. Great branding images create the first impression you want to inspire

People make snap decisions when we’re talking about first impressions. Whatever vibe you want to give off to potential clients, you have to be able to do it fast. With professional branding images you do it well and fast.

You increase the potential of engagement through images that represent your brand the way you want it to.

2. Strong branding photographs add genuine value

This can go both ways; bad imagery can devalue your brand but good imagery can showcase you and your products/service in their best, most authentic light, showing your potential client that you are worth the investment.

3. Great branding creates connection and trust

As viewers, we click on sites, profiles, accounts on Instagram and are looking for strong brand recognition. We’re looking for an aesthetic that is consistent.

Your potential clients are looking for pictures of you, your staff (if you have any!); they’re looking to develop a genuine connection with you. And in addition, if your images are consistent over your website, social media and marketing material you become even more recognisable, too.

So, do you think it’s time to up your game and showcase your amazing brand in the best way possible, with killer images?! If the answer is yes, shoot me a message and let’s chat about how we can propel your brand, next level style.
